Presiding magistrate, James Hanna, told him: “The victim was doing his job and it was a deliberate act on your part.”

Andrew Robinson, prosecuting, said a doorman at Blackpool’s Bar 19 saw Fletcher and another man causing problems in the bar next door on March 28 in the early hours. Fletcher gestured to the doorman he wanted to fight. He had been given a caution on condition he pay £75 compensation to the doorman, but could not pay.
