Concern for missing Blackpool man with links to Preston

A Blackpool man with links to Preston has been reported missing.

William McCroarty, 53, was last heard from at around 1pm on Saturday (February 1).

Police said they are "very concerned" for his welfare and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

He is described as white, 6ft 3in tall, of large build with short grey hair and speaks with a strong Scottish accent.

William is known to have links to Preston, as well as Glasgow.

Sgt Iain Carr, of Lancashire Police, said: "William’s disappearance is worrying and we want to speak to anyone who has seen him or knows where he is.

"Furthermore I would ask William, if he sees this appeal, to call police immediately."
