Police are appealing for information after three thieves stole goods from Blackpool shops.
In the first instance a man wearing a heavy overcoat and a fluorescent waistcoat walked into the Co-op, on Harrowside, South Shore, and helped himself to three bottles of champagne.
The incident happened shortly after 7.30am October 3.
In the second theft a man and woman entered Matalan, on Clifton Retail Park, and helped themselves to a quantity of children’s clothing.
The pair managed to run from the shop without being caught on September 25.
Police have issued a CCTV picture of a man in a fluorescent waistcoat (above) they would like to speak to in connection with the Co-op theft.
A spokesman for Lancashire police said: “I urge anyone who recognises this man to contact police directly.
“Shoplifting is a serious offence and we will do everything we can to catch those responsible.”
