CCTV appeal: Man kicked and punched in face outside Blackpool bar

A CCTV appeal has been launched after a man was punched and kicked in the face outside a popular Blackpool bar.

Police say the attack happened shortly before 4am on Monday, August 14 2017 outside Bar 19 on Queen Street.

Despite extensive enquiries, police have been unable to trace the offender and have this week launched a fresh CCTV appeal.

A police spokesman said: "We attended following reports a man, in his 40s, had been assaulted by an unknown offender.

"He was punched twice to the face causing him to fall the floor. Once on the floor, he was kicked twice to the face.

He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital to be treated for facial injuries."

As part of their investigation, they have released images of a man we would like to identify and speak to in relation to the incident.
