CCTV APPEAL: Assault at McDonalds in Blackpool

Police are appealing for information following a reported assault at a central Blackpool fast food restaurant.

The incident happened on February 14 at around 5.30am at the McDonald's restaurant on Bank Hey Street, say police.

A man reported that he had been assaulted and suffered a black swollen eye, cuts and bruises during the incident, they added.

Police would now like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident.

In a post to the Blackpool Police Facebook page a spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Blackpool police are appealing to see if anybody knows who the man in the CCTV is.

"We need to speak to him about an assault at McDonalds on Bank Hey Street." If you know who he is please give us a call."
