A car was torched in a suspected arson attack in Fleetwood.

It was set alight at the back of a house in Westfield Avenue, with two fire engines from the town called out at around 8.50pm yesterday, the fire service said.

Four firefighters in breathing masks used two water jets to put out the fire, while police were also called.

The incident lasted 20 minutes.
