Cannabis farm discovered inside house following drugs raid in Blackpool

A "cannabis cultivation" was discovered by police following a drugs raid at a property in Blackpool.

Police and Blackpool Council executed a drugs warrant at an address on Claremont Road yesterday (May 29) following information provided by the local community.

Officers discovered a large cannabis farm during the raid, with images from the scene showing dozens of plants inside the building.

Police have not disclosed if any arrests have been made as a result of the raid, but an investigation is ongoing.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "The Blackpool North Neighbourhood team have located a cannabis cultivation at a property on Claremont.

"This was discovered after the authority received some community intel."
