A 26-year-old trainee bricklayer bombarded his former girlfriend with texts and phone calls after they split up, Blackpool magistrates were told.
Jamie Bowman could not accept the relationship had broken down and for a month harassed the woman.
Bowman, of The Hamlet, St Annes, admitted harassment and was bailed until January 8 to allow pre-sentence reports to be prepared on him.
The court heard that some of the texts were extremely offensive.
He also turned up at her home once when the police were there taking a statement from her.
Hugh Pond, defending, said the relationship had been short lived but it continued to pull on Bowman’s heart strings.
He added: “He now realises the whole matter has got to stop.”
