Boy sent to youth custody

A teenager described as having no respect for authority with multiple breaches of court orders has been returned to youth custody.

The 16-year-old boy from the Layton area of Blackpool, pleaded guilty to breaching licence conditions of a detention and training order imposed for four offences of breaching an Anti Social Behaviour Order (Asbo) and the aggravated taking of a motor vehicle.

The defendant, who can not be identified for legal reasons, also admitted breaching an Asbo by entering Rede Avenue, Fleetwood.

He was sentenced to youth custody until February 8 by Blackpool Youth Court.
