A CORDON has been lifted almost two hours after a Fylde industrial estate was sealed off in a bomb threat.
Police sealed off Poulton industrial estate and cleared the area after a suspicious device was found in a parked car.
Aldon Coachworks was one of the businesses to have been evacuated.
Police received the alert at 10.51am on Friday and called in bomb disposal experts.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “The package has been thoroughly examined and is no longer deemed to be suspicious.”
Traffic and trains are getting back to normal around Poulton, after being stopped while police dealt with the package, the vehicle was just metres away from the train lines.
