Blackpool mum who died in Thailand 'was brainwashed'

The ex partner of a Blackpool woman who died in a horror crash in Thailand has claimed she was 'brainwashed'.

Sophie Anderson was living in Phuket, Thailand, when she died

Blackpool-born video blogger and mum-of-one Sophie Anderson had 81,000 YouTube followers and was six months pregnant when she died after being hit by a lorry in Phuket.

She fell from the back of her new boyfriend Danny Glass' scooter into the path of an oncoming lorry in May 2017.

Her former partner, and mother of her six-year-old son, has spoken out about what he believes was Glass' bad influence on her life.

John Coleman, 51, told a Sunday newspaper that Sophie changed from a “strong, confident woman into a ghost” after meeting Glass.

IT specialist John, who now lives in Bangkok, said: “If she’d never met Danny she’d still be here."

New age healer Glass is a controversial figure who has claimed he can cure autism in children.
