Ryan Fletcher, 23, breach of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order

A man accused of a sex offence has been banned from a cemetery.

Ryan Fletcher, 23, of Chesterfield Road, North Shore, is charged with breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order by contacting two 12-year-old girls in Layton between June 1 and 5 this year.

Fletcher was bailed to August 6. He must not enter Layton Cemetery or Kingcotes Park, Layton, and must live at his given address keeping a curfew there from 7pm to 7am as conditions of his bail.

Adam Bamber, 33, assault

A man who thought his partner was trying a to rekindle a relationship with one of her former boyfriends lost his temper.

Adam Bamber hit the woman across the head causing a large lump and then refused to let her out of his home on Kirkgate, Kirkham.

Bamber, 33, admitted assault and was given a 12 month community order with 30 days rehabilitiation.He must also do 100 hours unpaid work for the community work, pay £620 costs and was made the subject of a one year restraining order.

Sarah Perkins, prosecuting, said the victim spent weekends with Bamber together with their five-year-old son.On the night of the the assault they had argued and she broke some kitchen equipment.

Naughton Milner, 39,possession of a blade in public

A man threatened to stab two homeless men he believed had stolen his wallet.

Naughton Milner said he had taken the two homeless men back to his home, allowed them to shower and given them a sandwich then realised his wallet containing £30 had gone.

Milner, unemployed, 39, of High Street, North Shore, pleaded guilty to possessing a blade in public.

He was refused bail and remanded in custody to appear for sentence at Preston Crown Court on August 22.

Prosecutor, Andrew Robinson, said on police were told there was a man on High Street with a knife threatening to stab someone July 21.

When officers approached Milner they saw he had hidden the knife up the sleeve of his jacket. Police threatened him with a stun gun and he gave up the weapon.

Milner had previous convictions for possessing an offensive weapon and having a blade in public.

Steven Townley, defending, said his client had got chatting to two homeless men in the street and taken pity on them when they said they were hungry and needed to clean themselves up.

Milner let them shower at his home and fed them. As they were all leaving Milner found his wallet was missing.

The two homeless men said they had seen it on his bed but when Milner went to look it was not there.

The two homeless men left andilner, who was very drunk, got a knife and went into the street. He said he had no intention of harming anyone.

Anthony Austin, 50 assault and threatening police officers

A man ended up being arrested after celebrating his 50 th birthday.

Carpenter Anthony Austin rowed with friends and then threatened to set dogs on police officers called to the scene.

Austin, of Lawson Road, Marton, admitted assault and admitted threatening the three police officers.

He was ordered to pay £1,765 in fined and costs.Sarah Perkins, prosecuting, said that Austin celebrated his birthday with his wife and friends drinking in Lytham and Wrea Green.

However, Austin was left behind when the others got a taxi to the family home.

A row ensued at the house and Austin gave his wife a bloody nose and pushed her friend.

When police arrived he would not let them into the property and said he would turn his dogs on the officer.

Eventually the police talked him round and he was arrested.

Lisa Bland, 25, criminal damage

A guest at a Blackpool hotel lost her temper and and swept a card payment machine off a reception desk when she was refused her room key.

Lisa Bland, 25, of Higher Dean Street, Radcliffe, Manchester, pleaded guilty to causing damage.

She was sentenced to pay £150 compensation.Prosecutor, Pam Smith, said a male guest at the Ibis hotel asked the receptionist to call the police on June 28 because he and Bland had been arguing.

Minutes later Bland arrived at reception and asked for the key to her and her boyfriend’s room.

When it was not handed over she started screaming and shouting and swept her arm across the reception desk knocking off and damaging the card machine.

Steven Townley, defending, said his client, who had been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, did not handle stress well.
