Attempted robbery case sent to Crown

A man accused of attempted robbery and burglary at Fleetwood has made his first appearance at court.

Andrew Tallentire, 28, of Hampden Road, Leyland, is charged with trying to rob a man of cash.

He is also accused of stealing car keys during the burglary of an address in Fleetwood Road.

Tallentire is further alleged to have taken a Volkswagon Golf at Fleetwood and driven it dangerously

All the offences are said to have taken place on March 23.

Tallentire was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on January 20 by District Judge Jeff Brailsford sitting at Blackpool Magistrates Court.

He must not contact prosecution witnesses and must live at an address on Dimples Lane, Garstang, as conditions of his bail.
