A man seen frothing at the mouth in Blackpool town centre was in breach of an anti social behaviour order.

Jason Kear, 42, of Shaftesbury Avenue, North Shore, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with an ASBO by being intoxicated in a public place.

Kear was bailed for sentence at Preston Crown Court on September 6 by Blackpool magistrates.

Ben Collinson, prosecuting, said police saw Kear in the street outside The Blue Room pub, Church Street on July 18. Kear was intoxicated and under the influence of something. He was frothing at the mouth, had heavy eyelids and was stumbling about.

The prosecutor asked for Kear to be sentenced at crown court where he already faced sentence on two offences of breaching his ASBO.

Jessica Partington, defending, said the defence did not object to Kear being sentenced at crown court.
