The hunt is on for a man who has gone missing from his home in North Shore.

Police are appealing for information in trying to trace Gavin McGonigle, 42, who has not been seen since 9am on Wednesday when he left his home address on Clevedon Road.

When he left the house, he was wearing a black ski style jacket, blue jeans and a royal blue ‘Bench’ bobble hat.

Mr McGonigle is described as white, of medium build and around six feet three inches tall. He has short, dark grey hair, blue eyes and is clean shaven.

Sgt Helen McLaren said: “Gavin’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and so we would urge him to get in touch with either his family or the police to let someone know he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information should call 101.
