APPEAL: Concern for missing pensioner from Blackpool

Concern is growing for a pensioner who went missing from his home in Blackpool, say police.

Terence Smythe, 74, was last seen at his home address on Lindale Gardens in Blackpool at about 6.30am on Monday, August 13.

He is described as white, 5'9" tall and of medium build. Silver/grey balding hair and wearing a navy blue short coat, and a red white and blue short sleeve shirt.

Police are now appealing for help in tracing the missing man.

PC Andy Fleming said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about Terence and I would urge anyone who sees anyone matching his description to get in touch. I would also ask Terence himself to contact us himself if he sees this appeal.”
