HUNDREDS of bottles of liquid nicotine have been stolen after a garage was burgled.

The thief also stole two £700 electric bikes after breaking into the garage on Swan Drive, Cleveleys, through an unsecure side door.

Police today said the two folding aluminium bikes are rare and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

PC Ian Hill said: “I’d appeal to anybody that has seen any of this property or been offered any of the items for sale to contact police.

“The stolen bikes are relatively rare and are under a year old. There were also large quantities of liquid nicotine taken which were stored in boxes so it is likely someone has also tried to offload these.”

The nicotine was in 500 10ml bottles in flavours including coke, vanilla, coffee and mint and the thief also escaped with a barracuda snooker cue in a black leather case.

The burglary took place between 5pm on January 28 and 10.30am on February 1, and police believe the burglar gained access to the garage through the rear garden of the house.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
