Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was robbed by two teenagers in Blackpool.

The victim, a 32 year old man from the town, was walking along Preston Old Road at around 4.50pm on Wednesday, November 20, when he was approached by two teenagers who pushed him against a car and demanded money from him.

Scared for his safety, the man handed over all the cash he had in his wallet and the two teenagers then ran from the area.

Det Con Ellie Heaney of Blackpool CID today appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

She added: “Fortunately the victim was not injured but was understandably left shaken and we are very keen to trace the people responsible.

“I would appeal to anybody with any information or to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact police on 101.”

The two teenagers have been described as boys aged around 16 to 17 years of age, of medium build and both were wearing dark hooded tops.

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Lancashire Police on 101.

People with information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or on-line at
