Appeal after elderly couple lose 'sentimental items' in Blackpool Town Centre

An appeal has been launched after an elderly couple lost a money bag while shopping in Blackpool Town Centre.

The couple last remembered having the bag when they were in the train station area on Talbot Road.

A spokesman for the police said: " Whilst out shopping an elderly couple have lost a small plastic money bag (that banks issue) containing a number of items inside, some of which are of sentimental value to the couple.

"They last had it when in the area of the train station on Talbot Road and are desperately hoping for its safe return.

"Please keep an eye out for it if you are in the area."
