He was sentenced to 21 weeks’ prison and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge by District Judge Jeff Brailsford at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
The judge said: “No court can properly send a defendant to custody because the defendant says send me to custody. You breached the restraining order immediately and were on two suspended sentence orders.”
Pam Smith, prosecuting, said Walker had been made the subject of a restraining order which banned him from contacting a former girlfriend.

Dan Spencer, defending, he had been instructed by Walker to ask for a jail sentence. Walker said he had gone to his ex’s at her invitation.
Mr Walker said: “He says he was feeling low. During the past three to four weeks he has started, for the first time, using heroin. He started injecting himself and is feeling the craving already. He is desperate not to become an addict.”
