A drug addict climbed through a window at her mother’s home and stood over her demanding cash.

Lesley Burge, 33, of Camden Road, Layton, admitted breach of the peace and was bound over in the sum of £100 for 12 months by Blackpool magistrates.

Alison Quanbrough, prosecuting, said on July 15, at bout 3pm, police received a call from Burge’s mother saying she was having problems with her daughter.

An officer went round to the mother’s address on Kitson Close and a neighbour indicated Burge had climbed through an open window.

Brett Chappell, defending, said: “She went round to her mother’s begging for money and she feels ashamed of her behaviour.

She is going through a turbulent time at present with drug addiction.”
