14-year-old Liverpool boy who has been missing for almost a week has links to Blackpool

Merseyside Police are appealing for help tracing 14-year-old Lewis Westray who has been missing for almost a week.

Lewis Westray, 14, was last seen in Dingle, an inner city area of Liverpool, at 11am on Friday, April 3.

Police have now launched a public appeal to help find him.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We are appealing for help in finding 14-year-old Lewis Westray who is missing from home in Dingle."

Lewis is described as a white male, 5ft tall, of slim build, with long, wavy brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a maroon/burgundy coloured top, black bubble jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms.

He is also likely to have his bike with him, according to police.

Lewis is known to frequent Aigburth, the L8 area and Bootle, but he also has links to Blackpool and North Wales.

Anyone who has seen Lewis, or has any information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact police by calling 101.
