Creative director to give a talk

Blackpool and The Fylde College promises a colourful and candid insight into the world of advertising when an industry legend comes to visit.

Jon Slater has enjoyed a distinguished career as a creative director, including many years with world-reknown advertising giant Saatchi and Saatchi.

He has worked across the world on such high calibre accounts as Apple, flown with Colonel Sanders and even been on tour with the late David Bowie.

Now living in Thornton, Jon will be speaking about his experiences during  a lively question and answer evening on Wednesday  May 18, hosted by the College’s School of Creative Arts and Digital Industries and open to the general public.

There will also be a screening of a short documentary – Mad Man Cometh – starring the man himself, which has been produced in conjunction with B&FC.

The event runs from 7pm to 9pm at the University Centre, Park Road, with a drinks reception on arrival.
