Crash threw moped rider '˜20 feet in the air'
A moped rider was thrown 20 feet in the air in a crash in Devonshire Road, North Shore, but escaped with just minor injuries, police said.
The accident, which also involved a car, happened at around 6.30pm on Saturday, with ambulances pictured on the forecourt of the Esso garage on the corner of Talbot Road.
A number of passers-by called 999.
