People across the Fylde coast who are thinking about adoption are being invited to attend a special information evening.
The event will be held on Wednesday, April 8, and will be hosted by Lancashire County Council.
Following a short presentation, members of LCC’s adoption team, including social workers, will be on hand to answer questions, talk people through the adoption process and offer confidential advice.
County Coun Matthew Tomlinson, cabinet member for young people and schools at LCC, said: “We need people from all backgrounds to offer a permanent home and family to children who are no able to live with their birth family.”
The event takes place at County Hall, Fishergate Hill, Preston, from 6pm to 7.30pm.
