With almost 30 years in the food industry, Colin has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience which he brings to his most recent business venture, Fleetwood Market Cafe.
Colin said: “It’s quite simply named Fleetwood Market Cafe – as that’s exactly what it is!”

Hide AdFleetwood resident Colin added: “I have been working in the family-run business for 27 years, 17 of them I have been owner of Capricorn Cafe in the seaside town.
“I’ve worked in the food industry one way or another since leaving school.
“Starting my career at the North Euston Hotel in Fleetwood as a kitchen porter I then moved onto a supervisory role within a major supermarket. It was at this time that the opportunity arose to buy Capricorn Cafe.
“When I found out the market cafe was up for lease I couldn’t let the chance go by.

Hide Ad“I know the industry very well; I enjoy working with the public and meeting people and I am now keen to expand my career in a busier environment and I can’t wait to become a part of the Fleetwood Market family.”
The cafe offers a varied menu of breakfasts, toasties, salads and main meals with vegetarian options also provided.
Customers can also enjoy a varied selection of fresh cream cakes too.
Colin added: “Our first week of trading exceeded my expectations – we’ve been rushed off our feet and long may it continue.”

Hide AdFleetwood Market Cafe was officially opened by the Mayor of Wyre, Coun Terry Lees on Tuesday, November 15. The Market is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9am – 4.30pm.
all year round, including Bank Holidays and Tram Sunday.
