Blackpool Civic Trust welcomed Radio Wave presenter and Gazette columnist Andy Mitchell as guest speaker at its last meeting held at Blackpool Town Hall.

Civic Trust chairman Joan Humble said: “Andy gave a very interesting and hugely entertaining talk about his life in radio and television journalism.

“Our members thoroughly enjoyed his talk.”

The trust meets on the third Monday of the month at 7pm.

Tony Sharkey will be the guest speaker at the next meeting on Monday November 21 at the town hall, on the subject of Blackpool’s 1923 Carnival.
