Choir raises the roof for charity

One Voice Community Choir helped to raise Â£1,000 for a charity which supports vulnerable people.

Jeremy Mccandleuss, leader of charity InCourage, St Annes, said: “It was a wonderful, inspiring concert bringing joy to St Annes, perfectly reflecting what we aim to do, through the Christian ministry of Incourage.

“We are so grateful to One Voice Community Choir for offering their time for free and allowing us to raise over £1,000.”

The choir is made up of 70 volunteers who perform for free at concerts at the request of local charities.

The performance was held at St Annes Baptist Church at the request of Incourage, which works with homeless people and other members of the community who are vulnerable with addiction and mental heath problems.
