Anchorsholme Academy, in East Pines Drive, Anchorsholme has now introduced a corden parents must not enter.
We will have to cone off an exclusion area within which parents must not enter
Teachers appealed several times for people to stop crowding doors but were forced to take action after their pleas were ignored.
In letters home, the school said: “This is causing distress to the children and is making some of them very upset. This has resulted in one child getting hurt trying to get through the crowds.
“We will have to cone off an exclusion area within which parents must not enter. I am sad to have had to do this as we never want to put barriers up.
“However, the safety of the children has to be our priority.”
