Castle field in a ‘mess’ after circus
Anger has been expressed by Clitheroe residents after the grass in the Castle Grounds was churned up by a circus.
Circus Funtasia spent a weekend at Clitheroe Castle, featuring comedy clowns and acrobats. However, many local residents have today expressed their disgust at the state of the grass and litter strewn across the Castle grounds. According to a Ribble Valley Borough Council spokesman, circus organisers are at the site today (Monday) cleaning the mess.
