Car crash closes road
A man had to be treated for lower back injuries after a car crash.
The accident took place at the Nooks junction near Blackpool Road and Preston New Road, Clifton, around 4.50pm on Sunday.
Ambulance crews attending the scene between took the male to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed until around 7pm, while the driver’s silver honda car was removed from the road.
