Eager shoppers queued overnight to get into a new Garstang supermarket and receive one of its golden tickets.
Over 200 customers were clambering outside when Aldi opened its doors on Moss Lane for the first time on Thursday - with prizes on offer for the first 100.
These prizes included a 42 inch television, a tablet, luxury hampers and bags of Aldi shopping.
Children from Garstang Primary School entertained customers in the queue with a variety of festive Christmas carols, and complimentary hot sausage and bacon sandwiches.
The store has also donated prizes for the school’s Christmas tombola, donated a range of products to the First Garstang Scout Group and has created 34 jobs.
