Two brothers have been caged over a string of historic sex attacks on a 10-year-old schoolgirl more than a decade ago.
Ian Warren Hindle, 30, of Shelley Grove, Anchorsholme, was jailed for six years for raping the girl.
He was found guilty of two charges following a trial.
Judge Heather Lloyd, sitting at Preston Crown Court, ordered him to be subject to notification requirements for life.
The court heard he was aged around 14 at the time of the offences.
Lee Aaron Hindle, 29, of Pinewood Avenue, Bispham, was jailed for 28 months and must sign the Sex Offender’s Register for 10 years.
He had pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault against the same girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, and admitted three counts of gross indecency towards her when he was 13.
The rapes committed by Ian Hindle date back to the early 2000s.
The girl was abused at two addresses in the Blackpool area, the court was told.
The assaults by Lee Hindle relate to the same periods of time but were separate incidents to the abuse by Ian Hindle.
In September 2015, the victim attended Blackpool Police station to report non recent sexual abuse which spanned a four year period, starting from when she was 10.
