More than 200 people gathered to see Wyre business given its time in the limelight.

More than 100 businesses were nominated for the 2015 Wyre Business Awards and the winners in each of the 12 categories were revealed at a glittering black tie ceremony at Fleetwood’s Marine Hall.

The event, sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland, saw a wide variety of businesses from across Wyre, partner organisations, event sponsors and award judges gather to honour the best in business in the borough.

Every business and event organiser nominated got a certificate on the night in recognition of their successes in 2015.

The Awards were presented by main event sponsors, RBS, additional event sponsors Regenda Homes and Wyre Council Leader, Councillor Peter Gibson.

The judging panel included representatives from Marketing Lancashire, The Federation of Small Businesses and Fleetwood Town Football Club.
