The traffic flow of a busy Blackpool road junction is to be reviewed.
Traffic lights at the junction of Bispham Road, Warbreck Hill Road and Holyoake Avenue will be monitored to see how they could be improved for all road users.
The move is linked to the Plymouth Road roundabout traffic review, which began earlier this month.
Coun John Jones, Blackpool Council’s cabinet member for highways and transport, said: “We’re taking a close look at how traffic works all around the area of Plymouth Road, as well as by Crossley’s Bridge.
“Anybody who uses it regularly will know that it can easily get snarled up at busy periods like rush hour and during the Illuminations.
“We’re already taking a wider look at traffic on the roundabout to see how we can make it better for drivers and pedestrians but a large part of the traffic problems also relate to the traffic lights on Plymouth Road.”
