British tea and coffee company Ringtons is celebrating after scoring a new account win with Blackpool Football Club Hotel and Conference Centre.

Ringtons Beverages, the food services division of the 108- year-old tea and coffee company, has been appointed as the sole provider of individual in-room beverage items for the 72-bedroom hotel.

The style and quality of the bedroom products are a perfect match for our hotel, and our guests have already commented on how much they are enjoying them

The Ringtons bedroom beverage range includes Fairtrade teas, infusions, coffees, sugars and ancillaries.

Operated and managed by Sam Oyston, son of Blackpool Football Club’s majority owner Owen Oyston, the purpose-built, four-star hotel and conference facility opened its doors in 2013 following a multi-million-pound investment.

Cecilia Frediani, Blackpool FC Hotel and Conference Centre assistant general manager said: “We were incredibly impressed with the level of expertise and the quality of the products presented to us by Gloria from Ringtons Beverages.

“The style and quality of the bedroom products are a perfect match for our hotel, and our guests have already commented on how much they are enjoying them.

“We look forward to building our relationship with Ringtons in the coming months and to hopefully introduce more of their great products throughout the hotel.”

Ringtons is renowned for providing a traditional doorstep delivery experience to 250,000 homes from more than 30 sites throughout the UK – a service it started when the business was founded in 1907.

Ringtons Beverages is the food service arm of the company and has been supplying leading hotels, restaurants, business and cafes with high quality tea, coffee, catering supplies and coffee machines as well as hands on training and design services, for more than 30 years.

Speaking of the account win Gloria Sanchez from Ringtons Beverages said: “Blackpool Football Club Hotel and Conference Facility is a unique building and we are pleased to be a permanent fixture at the venue.

“The team were keen to appoint a British company which could provide a great service and range, and was particularly impressed with the fact all of our tea is blended and packed by us in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, which enables us to deliver the freshest quality product.”
