A new mid-century and contemporary interiors shop, The Attik, has opened in St Annes.
The new premises, at 10 Orchard Road, St Annes, is a re-brand of ‘The Second Hand Rose’ formerly on St Andrew’s Road South.
And the business owners have plans to expand yet further, with an online shop in the offing.
The shop, run by business partners Melanie Jackson and Jayne Callaghan, stocks mid-century and contemporary furniture, accessories and decorative items for the modern home.
Melanie said: “Our business has gone from strength to strength, we wanted a more visible presence on the high street and an identity that we could extend to our design and interiors business.
“James Hunter of Coyote Creative has done an amazing job with our brand identity and we love the look of the new shop.” The duo’s principle is simple – they only buy what they love. All of their furniture is hand-selected vintage.
“And there’s the added benefit of recycling and the kudos of owning an original vintage piece,” added Melanie.
Jayne said: “Our style is entirely unique and we have furniture to cater for all tastes.
“Why opt for a mainstream look for your home when you can create an eclectic mix of high quality homewares at The Attik.”
The ladies have been trading in St Annes since October 2013 as The Second Hand Rose aiming to source the best second-hand furnishings in the UK.
Melanie said: “We are now looking forward to creating our online shop to extend our sales beyond St Annes using a courier service.”
