Booths Poulton held a charity wine and cheese event, which was hosted by specialist manager Ben James and licenced specialist Jean MacIntyre.
The event saw 60 guests enjoy an evening of tutored wine tasting, complete with cheese matches and a selection of canapes.
Combined with their fund raising efforts during Mental Health Awareness Week and the themed event in store, the Poulton team raised a total of £500 for mental health charity MIND.
MIND is the charity that provides advice and support to empower anyone concerned about their mental health and campaign to improve services and raise awareness.
Richard Sykes, store manager, said: “Putting on events like this really brings the community together. It’s great to see everyone having such a good evening with people they’ve never spoken to before.
"At Poulton, we pride ourselves on being active members of the community and nights like this not only help bring the community together, but also raise money for fantastic causes too.”
