Four planning applications for housing developments are up for discussion this week.

Wednesday’s Fylde Development Management Committee will discuss plans to build 146 homes, a convenience store and industrial and office space behind Moss Farm on Cropper Road, Westby. The committee, chaired by Coun Ben Aitken, is recommend to approved the application.

It will also discuss the plans of Jones Homes (Fylde) to build Phase Two of its development of 42 homes on Chain Lane, Staining, which is also recommended for approval. Also on the agenda are plans to build a new village hall for Weeton and 20 homes off Mythop Road and St Michael’s Close. Recommended for refusal are access plans for 32 homes off Bryning Lane, Wrea Green.

The committee meets at the Lowther Pavilion at 10am.
