Fylde coast firm is living up to its name according to a national report.
Kirkham-based Inspired Energy, one of the UK’s largest energy consultants, has once again been identified as one of the London Stock Exchange’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain after outperforming their competition and showing consistent profit growth.
The LSE report celebrates the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses.
To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over the past four years and to significantly outperform their industry peers – something which Inspired Energy PLC has done consistently since floating in 2011.
As in 2015, Inspired Energy has been selected by LSE as a company which demonstrates a disproportionate impact on the UK national economical output, offering growth within employment and revenue.
Inspired Energy’s CEO, Janet Thornton, is proud to be included in the report again. She said: “Inspired is going from strength to strength with the last 12 months being especially strong for us. I’m so pleased all our hard work is being recognised by the London Stock Exchange and myself and the Inspired team are looking forward to an even more successful year.”
Within the last year, Inspired Energy, has increased their revenue highly, confirming their strong position within the professional services sector. More information on how the companies have been chosen can be found in the report online.
Xavier Rolet, Chief Executive, London Stock Exchange Group said: “Within our latest report, we want particularly to shine a light on the companies variously identified as ‘gazelles’, ‘the vital six per cent’ or ‘scale-ups,’ which have a remarkably disproportionate impact on UK national economic output. The consequence of their growth is apparent nationwide.”
Originally established in 2000, Inspired Energy now has a number of brands, including Inspired Energy Solutions, STC Energy and Direct Energy Purchasing. The business offers bespoke energy management and procurement strategies to help UK corporates and SMEs save money on their energy costs.
