Fylde utilities firm on the shortlist for award

Commercial energy and telecoms supplier BES Utilities has been nominated for two coveted industry awards.

The Fleetwood-based firm has been shortlisted for both the Telecom Team of the Year and the Treating Customers Fairly Award in The Utilities & Telecoms Awards 2015.

It is the second year in a row BES Utilities has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Treating Customers Fairly Award .

The firm says it is recognition of the company’s continued commitment to its customers.

BES Utilities co-founder and director Michelle Davidson said: “We are truly delighted to be shortlisted for the Treating Customers Fairly Award for the second successive year, and this is testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at BES Utilities.

“We are committed to doing the right thing for our customers and will continue to invest in our people, systems and processes to ensure we deliver a first class level of service.”

To win the Treating Customers Fairly Award a company must “demonstrate improved and consistent delivery of fair outcomes to consumers, as well as the establishment of an internal culture that supports this.”

This year marks the fifth outing for The Utilities & Telecoms Awards, set up and hosted by Credit Today.

The winners will be announced at a gala night on September 30 at the St Johns Hotel, Solihull,
