A Fylde restaurant brand has signed a deal with a top French champagne house to have its own label fizz.
The Villa launched its own black label Champagne in association with Joseph Perrier at a social event at the Wrea Green restaurant.
The launch was opened by The Villa’s general manager, Jayne Taylor, who welcomed the guests to the launch and the champagne and canapes flowed freely.
She said: “With the help of our wine partner, C&O Wines, and the collaboration of Joseph Perrier, we have become one of the few establishments in the country to bear our name on the back of the prestigious Joseph Perrier brut champagne.
“Dominic O’Connell, C&O Wines,and Martin Gamman of Joseph Perrier were also instrumental in playing their part.”
Dominic O’Connell, of C & O Wines, said: “The Villa own label launch party was a great success and it was a pleasure to be involved in organising this prestigious event. Friends of the Villa were invited to taste the exclusive Villa label Joseph Perrier Champagne with a special selection of hors d’oeuvres, and a presentation from Master of Wine and UK sales director Martin Gamman.”
