A therapy centre which underwent a rebrand just under a year ago has teamed up with a second Fylde coast business to offer more treatments.
The Therapy Company based in Church Road, St Annes, has been joined by Grant Smith Physiotherapy which has moved from its Westby Street site to St Annes.
Established 50 years ago by Grant Smith the company has been offering physiotherapy treatment to customers in the Lytham and St Annes area, as well as much further afield.
Mark Smith who managed Grant Smith Physiotherapy said it was a strategic move to enable the business to move on to the next step in its development.
He said: “Physiotherapy is at the heart of what we do and where our expertise and skills lie.
“However, over recent years we have realised how effective a multi-disciplined approach can prove and have seen great value in enhancing our treatments by offering a more holistic approach to customers.”
The move sees the physiotherapists able to offer continuity and confidentiality of ongoing treatments.
Diane Ogden, owner and manager of The Therapy Company, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the Grant Smith Physiotherapy team to our St Annes Centre.
“We combine excellent clinical skills with a high level of personal care for a wide variety of conditions for our patients, and introducing physiotherapy into our mix of treatments will greatly enhance our offering.”
In February last year, The Therapy Company changed its name from the Lancashire Counselling and Psychotherapy Service to The Therapy Company.
Owners Diane Ogden and Dr Natalie Miles said the name change reflected the development of the business and was to provide customers with a clearer view into what they now offered.
It also has a centre at St Catherine’s Hospice, near Preston.
