UCLan and The North West Chamber of Commerce are holding an event focusing on trade with Commonwealth countries

Fylde coast businesses thinking of exporting are urged to join an event focussing on Commonwealth countries.

Representatives from across the Commonwealth will be at UCLan on Thursday, April 12, as the North and Western Lancashire Chamber hosts its Commonwealth Connect event at the Foster building from 8.30am to 11am.

Chamber chief executive Babs Murphy said: “We are delighted to welcome representatives from the UK Asean Business Council (covering Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei); British Caribbean Chamber of Commerce, South African Chamber of Commerce and Altios International (covering Australia) to our event.

“Their collective knowledge and experience of working in these countries will be invaluable, so that attendees can hear about relevant case studies, whether you are an SME or a larger company.”

The free event aims to build and develop mutual trading relationships across the Commonwealth.

The event is sponsored by Moneycorp.
