The Briardene Hotel on Kelso Road in Cleveleys is back on the market as the current owners are looking to retire.

It has been advertised with a guide price of £925,000 through agents Fleurets.

The detached four-storey building has 16 en-suite bedrooms plus a two-storey house next door and 11 car park spaces. The agent said the turnover figures for the three-star hotel in 2015 and 2016 were £295,000 and £307,000.

The hotel made the headlines in the Gazette in February 2011 when Rodney Heywood, who ran the hotel, woke up to find the severe winter storms ripped part of the roof off.

It had previoulsly been offered for sale last year.
