Business women can get some inspiration and hear from Lynn Everson the National president of Business and Professional Women group.
She will be delivering the keynote speech at Edge Hill University, near Ormskirk a the North and Western Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business lunch and networking event.
It will take place on Wednesday, September 16 from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
BPW is a global organisation that represents 28,000 professional women in 90 countries while Lynn Everson is also the managing director of Preston-based Lifeline Language Services.
Also speaking will be Lynda Brady, Pro-vice Chancellor, of Edge Hill University, Mary Murtagh, an award-winning newspaper reporter and video journalist who now works as an expert speaker in PR and the media who will talk about how they can be used to promote business.
Sam Spiro, the managing director of Urban IT Solutions will simplify the subject of cyber security, look at where to focus your attention to eliminate most of the common cyber attack risks.
She will also talk through the new government-led cyber essentials certificate and how you can get cyber essentials ready.
