A Lytham company is celebrating being named as being one of the Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales.
Danbro Accounting were one of just two Lancashire firms making the cut alongside James Hall and Co.
Damian Broughton, managing director, (pictured) said: “We are immensely proud that we have been listed in the top 250 companies in the UK.
“It’s a great accolade for us, and for our team. The recognition is a reward enough after all the hard work we have put in, not just into our team but into giving great service to our clients - which is the main thing.
“We couldn’t be more delighted. Here in the North we’re finally winning more recognition about the work we are doing via the Northern Powerhouse.
“Indeed we have exported our service and some of our team from the North down into London and we have managed to persuade over 50 per cent of our clients to join us from the Home Counties.
“If anything shows we’re on the right track that does.”
Mr Broughton attended the Sunday Times Top Track national awards dinner in London this week. Danbro has two offices in London in addition to headquarters in Lytham.
The company was established in 1999 in the box room of Damian and Helen Broughton’s family home at Warton and relocated to Lytham’s 66k sq ft Jubilee House – the former base of the Land Registry – earlier this year.
Danbro has made the grade as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK in the Sunday Times Fast track 100 league table four times since 2007.
