A Fylde businessman is celebrating scooping a haul of awards.

Andrew O’Neill, director of Fine Lines Decorating and Property Maintenance Services Ltd, started his business in 2005, handing out leaflets up and down streets.

The firm has gone from strength to strength and has this year been crowned the winner of a national competition in its industry, while reaching the final in others.

Mr O’Neill, whose business is based in Eldon Court, St Annes, was recently presented the prize in the small contractors category of the Painting and Decorating Associations National Premier Trophy Awards.

He said: “This is the fourth time my small company has been winners in this prestigious national competition since 2009.

“We were also finalists this year in the Johnstone’s National Painter of the Year competition and also finalist in the Nectar National Business in the Community Awards 2009.

“These wins have put us in the industry history books in Lancashire and are accolades we are proud to bring back to this part of the country.”
