A St Annes business has given itself a whole new look with a relaunch and expansion of its services.
The Therapy Centre, in Church Road, has undergone a revamp and has brought a wider range of treatments under its roof.
Owners Diane Ogden and Dr Natalie Miles said the name change from Lancashire Counselling and Psychotherapy Service reflected the development of the business and was to provide customers with a clearer view into what they now offered.
Diane said: “Our background originally was in mental health but we both wanted to offer other complimentary services and that is how the business has developed over the five years.
“We changed the name in autumn and decided to refurbish the centre. It had been known as the Ansdell House Clinic before we bought it , but that sounded too medical and clinical and we wanted to move forward with the new things we do there.
“We have 10 therapists and includes a range of holistic therapies such as sports massage, Reiki, homeopathy osteopathy massages and acupuncture.
“Our treatments are aimed at people in all walks of life, whether someone requires some counselling or psychotherapy treatment or is looking for a head massage or some physiotherapy.
“All of our therapists and practitioners are highly qualified in their specific area of expertise and members of relevant associated professional bodies.
“We have many clients who come directly to us and others that are referred to us via their GP or private health companies, solicitors and company HR departments.
“The ethos is about offering customers choice and flexibility.”
The company used to rent rooms in St Annes before buying the premises and also has a centre at St Catherine’s Hospice, near Preston.
The premises have also been refurbished and now include new signage featuring The Therapy Company’s new branding.
It has also launched a new website – www.thetherapycompany.co.uk.
Diane added: “We are running a ‘meet the therapist’ event on Saturday, from 2pm to 4pm, so that people can come along and see exactly what we have to offer and meet us all.”
