Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire, Clive Grunshaw, is inviting business owners across Lancashire to attend a business crime conference on November 10.
The ‘Protect Your Business in Lancashire’ conference, which will take place in Leyland, has been organised with partners from the county’s Chambers of Commerce, Lancashire Partnership against Crime and the Federation of Small Businesses.
Whether based in the city or in a rural part of Lancashire, there will be specialist advice relevant to the needs of each business
The aim of the event is to provide Lancashire business people with the latest information and practical advice to help protect their businesses, their employees and their property.
Clive Grunshaw (pictured) said: “Lancashire has a thriving business community and it is important to me to help keep these businesses safe. This conference will give business owners all the information they need to protect their businesses.
“Whether based in the city or in a rural part of Lancashire, there will be specialist advice relevant to the needs of each business.”
Topics covered will include cyber crime, data protection, theft and fraud. Lancashire Constabulary will be in attendance to give crime prevention advice.
The event will take place from 9am to 1.15pm on Tuesday, 10 November 2015 at the Best Western Leyland Hotel, PR25 4JX.
The conference is free to attend but tickets must be booked in advance.
